The aesthetic direction of the degree project has visually been inspired by natural growth. Exhilarating colours and textures produced by moss, mould and bacteria influenced the weave and dyeing techniques. The colours are a dominant feature throughout the project.

Considering Tara’s affinity towards sustainability, it acts as a major driving force behind her work. All materials used in this collection are plant based, and all colours have been dyed naturally. The weaving, colour and dyeing techniques communicate a sense of contemporary, yet timelessness.
